About Us

Irene:

I was born and raised in Appenzell, but have lived in the Zurich area for many years. I've also spent time abroad (Paris, London, California), including five years with Bernhard in Michigan, USA. This allows me to combine a passion for foreign countries and cultures with knowledge of local customs in Appenzell. My goal is to ensure our guests have a wonderful stay. Let us know how we can make your stay even better!

Bernhard:

As a true native of the Palatinate region, I've been living in Switzerland for over 30 years and have found my home here. I, too, have caught the travel bug and am always interested in new people and cultures. I mainly take care of the "IT" for our holiday apartments, i.e., the website, etc.
